Is there a way to reboot the android box or stick remotely?

Usually just setting the daily reboot is enough.  For some, really unreliable hardware you may need to set it to reboot more than once a day but that is very rare.  There is no feature to remotely reboot the device but you could use something like Teamviewer to remote into the device and then reboot it.
