BurningThumb Studios updates BTS Net Pong – version 1.7 released


Richmond, BC, Canada — BurningThumb Studios has released a new version of BTS Net Pong. Version 1.7 implement single player games. It also adds another Pong variant, Gravity Pong. There’s also a couple of bug fixes and an update to use the new Unity Input System.

BTS NetPong is a blast from the past where you can play the first ever video game from the seventies, called Classic pong. Unlike the 1970s version, NetPong comes with additional game variants, including:

  • Classic Pong – Pong just like the original 1970s game. Single Player and multi-player versions included
  • Breakout Pong – Play Pong but use the ball to break through the other guy’s wall to win
  • Wall Pong – Play Pong but use the ball to break through the center wall before you can beat the other guy
  • Rain Pong – Play Pong but with the added challenge of raindrops that change the ball’s direction when the get wet
  • Gravity Pong – Play Pong but with the added challenge of Gravity wells that pop up from nowhere, growing and shrinking and changing the ball’s direction should it run into one

BTS NetPong can be played multi-player, just like in the 1970s. Unlike the 1970s version, NetPong can be played in single-player mode, or in network mode with 2 players or 4 players.
